Ordering

How long does delivery take?

Lead time depends on the fabric tier you pick. Cassis (Quick Ship) ships in 3-4 weeks. Belgian Linen ships in 6-8 weeks. Velvet ships in 8-10 weeks. Add 7-10 business days from ship date for white-glove delivery scheduling.

Can I see the fabric before I order?

Yes. Order a free fabric swatch and we'll send 5×5 inch samples within 5 business days. Pay only shipping.

Why does Belgian Linen and Velvet take longer?

Cassis is made in batches we hold in inventory. Belgian Linen and Velvet are cut and upholstered specifically for your order in our partner factory. The wait is the difference between a piece that fits a room and a piece that's just available.

Can I change or cancel my order?

You can modify or cancel a Cassis order any time before it ships. Belgian Linen and Velvet orders can be changed for up to 48 hours after placement — after that, the fabric has been cut. Email hello@cocoonmodern.com to make a change.

Shipping & Delivery

How much does shipping cost?

White-glove delivery is free anywhere in the contiguous 48 states. No promo code needed.

What's included in white-glove delivery?

Two-person delivery into the room of your choice, full assembly, and removal of all packaging materials. You don't lift a box, you don't touch a tool.

Do you ship internationally?

Not yet, but we will quote international shipments on request — email hello@cocoonmodern.com with your zip / postal code.

Will the delivery team schedule with me?

Yes. Once your order ships, you'll get an email from our white-glove partner to book a 4-hour window that works for you.

Returns & Warranty

Can I return a sofa?

Yes. You have 30 days from delivery to return any piece. Cassis returns are free. Belgian Linen and Velvet returns carry a 15% restocking fee because the fabric was cut for you and can't be resold.

What if my piece arrives damaged?

Inspect on delivery, note any damage on the BOL, and email hello@cocoonmodern.com with photos within 48 hours. We repair or replace at no cost.

What does the warranty cover?

5 years on the frame, 1 year on fabric and finish. Normal wear, pet damage, and improper care aren't covered. Full details in our Refund Policy.

Customization

Can I order just one module of the Shabi?

Yes — the Shabi is modular by design. Order individual armless, corner, and ottoman modules and build the configuration that fits your space. Use our Sofa Builder to plan.

Can I get a custom size?

Not currently. Our modular Shabi system gets you most custom layouts, and the Evan, Finn, and Scarlett are made to fixed dimensions for production quality reasons.

Do you offer leather upholstery?

Not at launch, but it's on the roadmap. Subscribe to our newsletter to be notified.

Care

How do I clean my upholstery?

See our full Care Guide for per-fabric instructions. Short version: vacuum weekly, blot spills (never rub), and consider a professional clean every 18-24 months.
