Refund Policy
We design our furniture to live with you for decades. We also know it's a big commitment. If something isn't right, we'll make it right.
30-Day Right of Return
You have 30 days from the delivery date to return any piece for a full refund of the product price. Original shipping is non-refundable; return shipping is paid by Cocoon Modern.
What Qualifies
- The item is in original condition (no stains, no rips, no smoke or pet odor).
- The item has not been altered (no after-market cleaning, staining, or modifications).
- The original packaging and assembly hardware are returned with the piece.
How To Start a Return
Email hello@cocoonmodern.com with your order number. Our team will schedule a free pickup within 5 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7 business days of pickup confirmation.
Custom Fabrics & Restocking Fee
Belgian Linen and Velvet upholstery is made-to-order. These pieces can still be returned within 30 days, but a 15% restocking fee applies because the fabric cannot be resold. Cassis (Quick Ship) returns carry no restocking fee.
Damaged or Defective Items
If a piece arrives damaged or develops a manufacturing defect within the warranty period, contact us immediately at hello@cocoonmodern.com with photos. We'll repair or replace at no cost. Our furniture is backed by a 5-year frame warranty and 1-year warranty on fabric and finish.
Exchanges
To exchange for a different fabric, size, or configuration, follow the return process above and place a new order. We do not charge a restocking fee on Cassis exchanges.
Swatches
Fabric swatches are free and non-returnable.
